Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technician responsible for promptly and safely performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures and systems. Duties include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and office remodeling/paint tasks; replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and door hardware; repair locking systems; travel between the plant and UHT Distribution Center for routine inspections; resolve work orders; adhere to GMP and safety practices; wear required PPE; communicate with the maintenance supervisor; demonstrate problem solving; and perform other duties as assigned. The position is in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving parts, variable conditions, and up to 50-pound lifts; pay rate based on a passing test score with an hourly/annualized compensation range suggested between $32k-$44k per year.
