Job Summary
Conduct small to mid-scale repair and improvement projects, including emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment. Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and machinist duties using hand and power tools while diagnosing faults and replacing parts. Maintain venue safety and cleanliness by disinfecting fixtures, managing trash, restocking restrooms, and sorting waste for the sustainability program. Partner with band members post-show to close the venue, collect recyclables, and store event equipment. Read work orders and equipment manuals to execute repairs and preventive maintenance. This seasonal, part-time role requires 1–3 years of facilities experience and trade certifications, with hourly pay ranging from $24.00 to $30.00.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- 1–3 years of facilities, maintenance, or building operations experience
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety compliance standards
- Experience performing plumbing, electrical, and general construction/repair work
- Trade certification or state/local licensing (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
- Experience in live event, entertainment, or high-traffic venue environments
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
