Job Summary
Conduct daily preventative maintenance, upkeep, and repair of Carter BloodCare properties and equipment under general supervision. Perform routine tasks requiring judgment, including minor documentation of maintenance records and work orders. Utilize industry tools and equipment while adhering to oral and written instructions, with a focus on basic electrical and mechanical knowledge. Maintain a valid Texas driver's license and acceptable driving record for all facility-related travel. Complete a Defensive Driving Course within 90 days of employment. This role requires full-time attendance during normal working hours and includes the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of one years' experience in facility maintenance
- Ability to lift, up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of the use of industry-related tools and equipment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Basic electrical/mechanical knowledge
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license
- Defensive Driving Course must be completed within 90 days of employment
- Regular full-time attendance is required during normal working hours
- Must be able to perform work of a fairly routine nature, requiring a reasonable amount of judgment in performing the daily preventative maintenance, upkeep, and repair of Carter BloodCare's properties and equipment
- Must be able to handle minor documentation and paperwork regarding facility maintenance records or work orders
- An acceptable driving record (as specified in the current Carter BloodCare Vehicle Safety Loss Control Guide)
- We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing
Desired Qualifications
- Basic sheetrock repair and painting; minor carpentry, a plus
