Facilities Maintenance Supervisor (11587)

Assess district-wide maintenance and repair needs to establish priorities and allocate resources for safe school operations. Supervise assigned personnel and coordinate day-to-day mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance activities. Prioritize and assign work orders based on safety, operational impact, and available resources. Meet with employees weekly to review workload, performance, and professional development needs. Communicate with administrators, vendors, and contractors to resolve issues and coordinate activities. Inspect completed work and facilities to ensure quality standards and identify preventive maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records, including work orders, estimates, and inspection documentation. Respond to emergency situations during and after normal work hours as necessary. Safely operate basic tools and equipment while implementing preventive maintenance programs and regulatory initiatives.
