Job Summary
Facilities & Maintenance Specialist responsible for end-to-end maintenance operations across multiple sites, owning work orders, vendor coordination, estimating, budgeting, site visits, and client communications. Role includes coordinating service requests, managing vendors and subtrades, reviewing scopes and service documentation, supporting invoicing and cost tracking, and contributing to SOPs and system adoption. Requires 3–5+ years in facilities, maintenance, or related fields, ability to read blueprints, experience with budgeting/quoting, and comfort working both in-office and on-site in Mississauga, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, commercial construction, or service operations
- ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- proven job-estimating experience with quoting and budgeting for service or construction work
- knowledge of trades, scopes, building systems, and site practices in commercial construction
- strong communication skills and ability to work with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with ability to manage multiple work orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- comfortable working both in-office and on-site with after-hours coordination
- legally entitled to work in Canada and able to work on-site in Mississauga with travel to client sites
