Job Summary
Manage and oversee repair and maintenance of equipment in the warehouse and retail locations, including new store openings and upgrades. Recommend and requisition materials and supplies, coordinate with construction companies and city inspectors for licenses, and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to. Identify and resolve mechanical problems, supervise contractors, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and prepare reports on equipment, safety, and project progress.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to travel when new stores open and if needed
- Basic knowledge of PC skills including DOS, Microsoft Windows NT, Word & Excel
- Basic AC/DC electrical and electronic principles
- Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards
- Excellent organizational and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be able to lift up to 75+ pounds when needed
- Driver's License
- High school diploma or GED
- Greensboro, NC 27409: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
- Must be able to answer calls and work if needed

Desired Qualifications
- Electrical: 3+ years (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)
