Job Summary
Lead a maintenance team across Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, and Mississippi to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on government-owned facilities. Manage skilled technicians, supervise work, handle administrative duties, and perform a variety of building trades (including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cement masonry, drywall). Travel is required. Responsibilities include safety oversight, budgeting support, inventory control, and providing reports using MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint. The role involves working from blueprints/drawings, maintaining warranties/maintenance agreements, and ensuring a safe, clean environment for facility patrons. Strong leadership, communication, and hands-on maintenance skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from High School
- At least five (5) years' experience in the commercial maintenance field. Experience in large complexes and HVAC knowledge is desired.
- At least three (3) years of management experience
- At least three (3) years of SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer) experience
- Proficient computer skills in order to complete reports and other required documentation
