Job Summary
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing for water distribution and waste-water disposal. Conduct scheduled inspections for preventive maintenance on safety and operational equipment, including ladders, eye wash stations, and fire systems. Perform remedial painting, support fleet vehicles, and transport confidential documents for shredding. Assist in moderately complex construction activities, install simple office furniture, and manage snow and ice removal. Document all work performed using the CMMS program while adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in handling and operating pressure washing equipment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State Driver's License
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call
- Intermediate level requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Senior level requires 5 to 9+ years of relevant experience
- This role requires that the Maintenance Mechanic be onsite 5 days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in related trade (optional)
- General understanding with personal computers and MS office
- Experience in Furniture installation of various brands (preferred)
