Facilities Maintenance Manager

Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Manager responsible for overseeing 50–85 company restaurants in Southern California or the Southeastern US. Manages facility technicians and outside vendors, supervises preventative and reactive maintenance, and leads capital projects to ensure safe, well-maintained restaurants per CKE standards. Oversees invoice reconciliation, budget adherence (annual $2.5M–$4M; capital projects $1.25M–$2.5M), and collaboration with Construction for remodels. Conducts site visits, drives cost-effective solutions, ensures compliance with codes and ADA requirements, and guides franchisees. Requires strong project management, CMMS proficiency, vendor management, and staff development; travel to multiple sites and ability to work from home/field environments.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Minimum five (5) years of experience/education in Quick-Service Restaurant Facilities
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-starter and team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Experience with CMMS and facilities technology (GPS, HVAC monitoring, smart building tech)
- Ability to manage budgets and vendor/contracts
- Ability to hire/train/coach department personnel
- ADA knowledge and compliance
- Ability to travel (restaurant visits 2-4 days per week)
- Ability to oversee capital maintenance and remodel projects
- Capability to supervise technicians and external vendors
