Facilities Maintenance Housekeeper

Job Summary
Maintain carpets, floors, and common areas by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing while dusting furniture, shelves, and ceiling registers. Perform or coordinate facility repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and flooring. Complete daily assignments to meet club standards, manage preventive maintenance checklists, and document work requests from department heads. Communicate with the supervisor to prioritize tasks and resolve challenges using available resources. Adhere to safety guidelines, OSHA regulations, and company policies while maintaining professionalism with members and staff. Requires high school diploma and two years of experience in golf club maintenance or housekeeping. Full-time role with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the general maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial services in the golf club environment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion
- Availability to work on weekends and/or holidays as required
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines
- Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation best practices
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces (e.g., carpets, windows, restrooms) and the proper care of high-traffic areas
- Previous training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance
- Knowledge of and adherence to all OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and other compliance related facility maintenance
