Job Summary
Senior Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at ASU Tempe campus responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing intermediate to complex equipment and facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance and water chemistry. Coordinates maintenance services with vendors, schedules work orders, and supports Sun Devil Fitness Complex operations. Reaches daily/weekly walkthroughs, manages lifecycle replacement planning for furniture and fixtures, and ensures safety standards and regulatory compliance. Must have a High School Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent) and ability to obtain Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) certification within six months. The role requires bending, lifting up to 75 pounds, driving university vehicles, and working in environments with exposure to temperature extremes and other hazards. Salary range $46,000–$51,000 annually; standard ASU benefits and a Monday–Friday schedule at the Tempe campus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Ability to obtain Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) Certification within six months of employment
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry maintenance
- Experience coordinating with vendors and managing work orders
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Clean driving record and valid Arizona driver’s license (Class D) upon employment
