Job Summary
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the venue, including carpentry work, painting, flooring, and HVAC system maintenance. Conduct routine inspections to identify safety hazards and address them quickly while maintaining an inventory of tools and supplies. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations. This role requires a handyman with strong carpentry skills, proficiency in painting, and basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Valid driver's license and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting
- Strong carpentry skills and experience with woodworking tools and equipment
- Proficiency in painting techniques and knowledge of painting materials and products
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
