Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance and Grounds Technician responsible for upkeep, safety, and functionality of ISBH properties across Central and Southeastern Ohio. Performs routine maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, and safety systems; coordinates with external contractors (elevators, security systems, pest control) and maintains service documentation; performs general repairs including painting, drywall, lighting, and hardware; conducts safety inspections to ensure compliance with state/local protocols; conducts basic building modifications; operates maintenance tools; performs landscaping and groundskeeping; maintains maintenance logs and records; responds to emergency repair needs; travels within the designated service area.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent required
- Trade school certificate or associate's degree preferred
- 3-4 years facilities maintenance experience required
- Knowledge of property maintenance, landscaping, and gardening required
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and general facilities maintenance practices required
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required
- Auto insurance coverage required
