Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and train janitorial staff across multiple agency locations while developing work schedules and maintaining model cleaning standards. Monitor supply usage within budget, address quality issues promptly, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, HIPAA, and corporate policies. Communicate regularly with Quality Control and Contracts Managers to resolve concerns and support agency goals. Provide leadership by example through punctuality and exceptional attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or High School Diploma
- 1-3 years relevant work experience
- Must be knowledgeable and capable of performing cleaning and disinfecting
- Must be willing to lead, supervise and train janitorial staff and/or people with disabilities at multiple locations
- A valid New York State Driver's License
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Basic Computer proficiency including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Must provide own transportation to and from worksite
- Must be able to lift, push, or pulling in excess of 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to hear
