Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex HVAC systems while performing preventive and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial equipment. Install, test, and commission large-scale systems including chillers, boilers, air handling units, and variable air volume systems. Read blueprints, interpret schematics, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues while working with Building Automation Systems. Perform refrigerant recovery and charging in compliance with EPA regulations and coordinate major repairs with vendors. Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and inspection reports accurately. Participate in emergency response and after-hours support as required. Ensure all work complies with OSHA, EPA, and local codes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA Universal Certification
- Minimum 8 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC certification or trade school training
