Job Summary
The Inns of Aurora Resort and Spa seeks an experienced Facilities HVAC/R Technician responsible for maintenance and repairs of HVAC and refrigeration systems. Requires high school diploma, HVAC/R knowledge, and valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Advanced understanding of HVAC/R systems and equipment
- Thorough knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Ability to read and interpret building electrical and mechanical drawings
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Working knowledge of safe work practices and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Basic computer skills including Windows and Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, & be on-call as work dictates
- Must be able to work from an elevated position using ladders and/or electric lifts
- Must be able to lift & carry 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Current EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating and programming a Building Management System, preferably Automated Logic – WebCTRL
- Five plus years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC/R equipment
- 2-year HVAC Trade School or Associates degree in Technical discipline preferred
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work a shift other than Monday-Friday
