Job Summary
Seasonal/variable-hour Facilities/Housekeeping Attendant at City Museum serving park services: Regular cleaning and upkeep of tables, chairs, walkways, windows, floors, restrooms and walls; maintain appearance of facilities and grounds; trash collection and disposal; handle special clean-up situations; use safety equipment; provide superior guest service; assist guests with questions about facility layout and amenities; follow park policies and procedures; other duties as assigned. Must be able to work varied hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays; must be 16+; must lift up to 45 pounds; able to work in extreme weather; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers and staff members
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Energy and enthusiasm for long days
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Must be able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 45 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs
