Job Summary
Maintain and repair district school buildings, grounds, and equipment across interior building systems and exterior site infrastructure. Provide custodial support during emergencies, staffing shortages, or special events as needed. Perform maintenance on plumbing fixtures, door hardware, lighting systems, and electrical/plumbing repairs; inspect buildings for safety; maintain landscape irrigation, playgrounds, turf, and exterior lighting; assist with preventive maintenance programs and site readiness; support contractors with site access; operate grounds equipment; assist with event setup/teardown and basic cleaning during high-demand periods; must have a valid Colorado driver’s license and pass background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License
- Acceptable driving record for district vehicle operation
- Ability to pass background check per school district requirements
- Experience in building maintenance, grounds maintenance, or related field preferred
- Experience with plumbing fixtures, door hardware, lighting systems, and general repairs
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, playground maintenance, or exterior systems preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and grounds equipment
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work indoors/outdoors in varying weather
