Job Summary
Maintain a cleaning schedule covering floors, restrooms, windows, and grounds while assisting with laundry, furniture setup, and special event preparations. Perform preventive maintenance, operate tools safely, and inspect equipment for hazards. Open and close the building daily, ensuring exit doors are accessible and reporting unsafe conditions immediately. Complete daily maintenance reports and manage cleaning supply inventory. Work the 2nd shift as a full-time hourly role supporting Oaks Church and Life School.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
- Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies and chemicals according to manufacturer recommendations and established cleaning routines
- Ability to follow protocols for infection prevention including flu and covid
- Punctual and Presentable
- Detail oriented and self-initiated
- Must be willing to learn and train others
- Self-motivated and Proactive
- Positive attitude and team mentality
- Full-time hourly position
- 40 hours per week
