Facilities & Fleet Specialist (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning of Starpoint Day Program and administrative areas, disinfecting restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces while emptying trash and maintaining glass surfaces. Coordinate transportation requests for field trips and manage RSLI vehicle mileage, fuel use, and maintenance when driving. Maintain compliance with developmental disabilities policies and regulatory standards while completing required professional training. Requires a valid NC driver's license, own transportation, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Full-time or part-time schedule with irregular hours; regular attendance and physical presence at the job site are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of developmental disabilities
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
- Proficient in Windows operating systems with competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
- Efficient in managing email and Google Calendar
- Skilled in basic data entry and organizing digital files
- Ability to understand and apply operating policies and licensing and certification standards
- Ability to demonstrate good housekeeping habits
- Attention to detail in their daily responsibilities
- Able to work with minimal supervision and direction
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age or older
- Must hold a valid NC driver's license and be deemed an acceptable driver by RSL insurance carrier
- Experience with household appliances, office equipment, Hoyer lifts, van lifts, and adaptive devices such as wheelchairs and scooters
- Experience working around people who have developmental disabilities or working in an intensive behavior, psychiatric, nursing home or childcare setting
- Must have own transportation for travel on RSL business
