Facilities Field Supervisor

Job Summary
Define and develop solutions for facility services while administering repair work orders and managing vendor requirements across a large portfolio of properties in Texas. Lead the Field Coordinator and Inspection Team, hiring, training, and managing direct reports to ensure compliance with company objectives. Monitor, code, and evaluate vendor invoices for accuracy, approve workflows, and negotiate maintenance contracts to control costs. Develop preventative maintenance schedules and budgets, review large-ticket item inspections, and track project progress using the Maintenance Project Tracker. Resolve facility issues amicably with tenants and vendors while ensuring all projects are completed within scope and timeline.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification in a relevant trade or technical program
- 10+ years of Facilities Management experience to include HVAC, Electrical, Roofs, Asphalt, Concrete, Plumbing, Irrigation and Utilities
- Ability to set priorities effectively
- Strong leadership and customer service skills
- Proven experience in outsourcing facilities
- Understanding of facility maintenance practices
- Knowledge of current trends in the field
- Excellent communicator
- Strong Work Ethic and Practices
- Refined critical thinking skills
- Excellent time management and planning skills, organized with the ability to multitask, exceptional follow up skills and able to meet deadlines
- Computer literate (Outlook, YARDI, Excel, Word)
- Ability to make decisions quickly, based upon a combination of analysis, experience, wisdom and judgment
- Flexible personality with the ability to deal with ambiguity and to think outside the box and provide a continuous flow of new ideas and process improvements
- Results-oriented. Ability to execute and carry out strategic and operational plans
- Talent developer with a good judge of character
- Must carry/lift loads of: Moderate (25-50lbs.)
- Must carry/lift loads of: Heavy (over 50lbs.)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
- Financial analysis experience is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
