Job Summary
Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Technician position focuses on maintaining and repairing clinic facilities and fitness/rehabilitation equipment across seven outpatient healthcare offices. Responsibilities include routine repairs, responding to work orders, troubleshooting electrical/plumbing/carpentry/drywall/painting issues, coordinating with outside vendors, conducting monthly/quarterly inspections, inspecting and maintaining fitness equipment, managing maintenance records, and using electronic systems for timekeeping and documentation. Must travel between clinic locations, lift and move equipment as needed, and hold a valid driver’s license. Part-time role emphasizing independent work, hands-on problem solving, and ensuring a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance, handyman services, facilities management, or a related field
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and repair techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and develop practical solutions
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable using smartphones and electronic systems for documentation and communication
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between clinic locations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move equipment and supplies as needed
