Job Summary
Lead onsite vendor management and schedule critical work in a fast-paced semiconductor supply environment while delivering hands-on maintenance and rapid response to protect people and assets. Drive reliability through on-schedule preventive maintenance, meticulous records, and coordinated spare parts, while responding to building emergencies and contributing to site capital budget input. Create safe work permits, PTSA's, and JSAs, ensure LOTO compliance, and promote safety, continuous improvement, and energy conservation using SAP and the Building Management System. This day shift on-site role in Tempe, AZ requires an on-call rotation and regular overtime to support business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or other Safety/Process discipline
- 5+ years' experience in Facilities Engineering Technician role with Facilities Maintenance emphasis
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or other Safety/Process discipline
- 3+ years' experience in Facilities Engineering Technician role with Facilities Maintenance emphasis
- This role does not offer sponsorship for work authorization
- External applicants must be eligible to work in the US
- Day shift on-site position
- Tempe, AZ location

- Manage onsite vendors and subcontractors
- Define, prioritize, and schedule work amid changing priorities
- Provide timely hands-on response to maintenance, repair, and assistance requests
- Create safe work permits, PTSA's, and JSAs as appropriate
- Ensure compliance with LOTO programs
- Ensure preventive maintenance is completed within established timeframes
- Maintain up-to-date building/equipment maintenance records and stocked spare parts inventories
- Respond to building emergencies
- Provide input to site capital budget
- Promote safety, continuous improvement, and energy conservation
- Use SAP for PM/CapEx/Projects and BMS
- Follow company policies
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of Central plant operations, distribution systems, Freon systems and acid waste treatment methodology
- Experience with a Building Management System (e.g., Trillium Niagara 4, Siemens Apogee/Insight or Johnson Controls FX Workbench)
- 10+ years in Facilities Engineering Technician role with Facilities maintenance emphasis
- Semiconductor experience
- Oversight of onsite Vendors and Subcontractors. Define, prioritize, and schedule work within changing priorities
- Basic experience with process controls, high purity piping and UPW systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter and able to work well within a team-oriented environment
- Work with and prioritize multiple tasks within a changing business environment
- Strong communication skills – both oral and written
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
