Job Summary
Manage site services and equipment by handling maintenance, contractor management, fault diagnosis, and plant performance analysis across the facility. Operate and maintain critical systems including fire prevention, water, air, gas, refrigeration, and electricity, while overseeing loading bay and dock door equipment. Lead improvement projects focused on operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and energy use, applying project management knowledge of CDM, 5S, and TPM. This role requires an NVQ Level 3 engineer with FMCG or logistics experience, strong analytical skills, and CMMS proficiency. The position offers a salary of £46,125 plus overtime, Monday to Friday hours from 8am to 4:30pm, and access to pension, training, and product discounts.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- FMCG or logistics experience
- background in engineering or maintenance
- experience in operating and maintaining fire prevention, water, air supply, gas supply, refrigeration and electricity systems
- experience of working with loading bay equipment and dock door systems
- project management experience, with an understanding of CDM, 5S and TPM
- knowledge of legislative and environmental standards
- strong analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills
- good IT literacy, including experience with CMMS and Excel
