Job Summary

Facilitate electrical design and installation for SpaceX’s Redmond facilities. Design and specify electrical power distribution, switchgear, MCCs, lighting, grounding, UPS units, generators, automatic transfer switches, and power monitoring. Support facility technicians and engineers with troubleshooting, load-flow analysis, equipment evaluation, and ensures interfaces with mechanical systems and compliance with NFPA/IBC standards. Coordinate installations with utilities, review codes (NFPA 70E/NEC/IBC etc.), and contribute to multi-project execution in a fast-paced construction environment. Requires collaboration with engineers, architects, trade partners, and internal customers to enable world-class manufacturing facilities. Requires ability to work hands-on, travel as needed, and meet ITAR-related eligibility. Strong communication and organizational skills, plus experience reading power/control schematics and MODBUS/industrial controls are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of professional experience working on electrical projects, power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS's, and/or generators

  • ITAR requirements: must be a U.S. citizen or national, or U.S. lawful permanent resident, or refugee/asylee, or be eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
