Job Summary

Provide technical support and engineering expertise for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of pipelines, compressor stations, measurement & regulation facilities, and related midstream assets. Function as first-line technical support by supporting day-to-day operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and process safety requirements. Collaborate with Field Operations, Engineering & Construction, and Asset Performance groups to drive operational excellence and execute asset management initiatives. Requires 3+ years supporting natural gas compressor stations, familiarity with process safety management and regulatory compliance, and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years supporting natural gas compressor stations (midstream oil & gas preferred)
  • Working knowledge of pipeline, compressor station, and/or M&R facility operations
  • Familiarity with process safety management (PSM), management of change (MOC), and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering software and digital tools
  • Willingness to travel to field locations as required (up to 40% of the time)
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting field operations in an owner's engineer capacity
  • Experience with digital transformation, automation, or data analytics in field operations
  • Knowledge of asset integrity, measurement, automation, or compression systems
  • Advanced proficiency in technical writing and documentation
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure
