Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair electrical circuits, systems, and equipment including lighting, branch circuitry, and power distribution. Troubleshoot and service fire alarm, intercom, security, and kitchen systems while supporting school activities for events like fundraisers and PTA meetings. Revamp electrical systems for remodels and renovations, inspecting and testing various systems for proper functioning. Maintain records on time, labor, and materials. Requires five years of skilled electrician experience, a valid Arizona driver's license, and fingerprint clearance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five (5) years of experience as a skilled electrician
- Ability to obtain State of Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Knowledge of the tools, equipment and materials common to the electrical trade
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards and regulations
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions
- Skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical systems and components
- Skill in the care and use of hand tools and equipment necessary to perform various electrical repair tasks
- Skill in both verbal and written communication
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Ability to use graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids
- Lift up to 80 pounds of materials
- Climb to various heights and work in confined spaces
- Drive District vehicle
