Job Summary
Lead the Facilities department to ensure all company locations are safe, functional, and ready to support daily operations. Develop long-term facility strategies that support growth and improve operational efficiency while creating systems and standards for maintenance across multiple states. Oversee maintenance personnel, coordinate work assignments, and personally complete repairs when practical. Respond promptly to urgent issues, track maintenance requests, and proactively identify concerns before they escalate. Partner with the Growth team for site selection, lease walkthroughs, and build-outs, while managing contractors and vendors to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Ensure compliance with licensing standards, coordinate annual inspections, and prepare facilities for state audits. Manage facility expenses, track warranties, and maintain inventory of equipment and tools. This role requires regular travel throughout Southern Utah, including Cedar City, Hurricane, and St. George, with occasional evening or weekend availability for urgent needs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in facilities management, property management, construction management, or a related field
- Previous leadership or project management experience
- Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, and general repair work
- Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Ability to independently perform general maintenance and repair tasks
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.) and the ability to use technology to manage projects, track work orders, maintain documentation, and communicate effectively
- Excellent organization, planning, and prioritization skills
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Ability to safely use common hand and power tools
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions as needed
- Ability to sit for extended periods while completing administrative work and coordinating projects
- Occasional availability outside of normal business hours (evenings or weekends)
- Regular travel between Cedar City, Hurricane, Downtown St. George, and Bloomington
