Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of chiller plants, boiler plants, and robotics automation systems to minimize production line interruptions. Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program, 24-hour staffing plan, and emergency response drills while supervising Building Management Systems. Design safety procedures, enforce regulatory compliance, and deliver monthly safety and budget reports to upper management. Hire, train, and manage the facilities team, conducting performance reviews and fostering continuous learning. Identify and negotiate with external vendors, explore automation solutions for inventory logistics, and establish maintenance tracking systems using work orders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field
- Extensive hands-on experience with chiller plants, boiler plants, and complex mechanical systems
- Proven experience in team leadership, budget development, and safety procedure implementation
- Knowledge of, or experience with, automation technologies and inventory logistics systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
