Job Summary
Facilities Director responsible for the overall coordination and oversight of MAOF facilities operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant functioning of all agency buildings and properties. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day facility operations, supervising maintenance, overseeing safety and security protocols, coordinating emergency response efforts, managing contractor performance, mitigating risk, conducting site inspections, and overseeing facility-related leases and contracts; requires consistent on-site presence and leadership across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in facilities or operations management.
- Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of vendor/contractor management, permits, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with lease negotiation and infrastructure improvement projects
- Knowledge of the Federal Davis-Bacon Act.
- Must be able to interpret building plans, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Capable of preparing clear and concise reports for management and funders.
