Job Summary
Lead, mentor, and disciple the facilities team to foster professional excellence and spiritual growth while managing their scheduling for ministry and event coverage. Oversee all aspects of building care, maintenance, and upkeep, ensuring spaces remain safe, clean, and functional for church services and special events. Manage repair operations, building systems, and the facilities budget while supervising contractor relationships and maintaining code compliance. Collaborate with ministry leaders to anticipate and schedule facility needs, ensuring timely support for all departments. Participate actively in ministry leadership meetings to align operational goals with the organization's mission.
Required Qualifications
- Be in a dynamic and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, engineering, or a related field
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in facilities, operations, or property management, including at least two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead with humility, build healthy relationships, and cultivate a culture of hospitality and exceptional customer service
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction, and maintenance
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Strategic thinker experienced in working in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a culture of teamwork, integrity, and spiritual growth
