Job Summary
Custodian and bus monitor for a Head Start program in Hamlet, NC. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, offices, and common areas; assisting with facility maintenance and supply organization; safely transporting children to and from program locations; serving as a bus monitor when needed; maintaining safe and sanitary environments for children and staff; supporting program operations as needed. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, CDL (or ability to obtain within 90 days), valid driver's license, ability to operate cleaning equipment, and completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, and TB test with random drug screenings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Related custodial or maintenance experience preferred
- CDL required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and maintain facilities
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening and TB test, and must submit to random drug screenings.
