Job Summary
Coordinate routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance for camp facilities, grounds, and equipment while managing schedules, inspections, and compliance records. Lead day-to-day maintenance activities across the site, troubleshoot issues quickly, and respond to urgent repairs. Coordinate contractors and specialized service providers, oversee seasonal upkeep including mowing and pruning, and support a positive safety culture by championing safe work practices. Work closely with the Centre Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance, facilities, trades, property or grounds care
- Strong practical skills using tools, equipment and machinery
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A commitment to safety, compliance and quality workmanship
- The ability to coordinate multiple tasks and contractors
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working with Children Check
- Meet all relevant compliance requirements
