Facilities Coordinator (Night Shift)

Job Summary
Conduct hourly facility walk-throughs to inspect safety, maintenance, and cleanliness at the North Druid Hills location. Perform minor repairs, complete overnight preventative maintenance tasks, and monitor all safety systems including fire panels and security alarms. Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies, environmental hazards, and guest needs while acting as a backup point of contact for the Night House Manager. Document urgent issues, provide detailed overnight shift notes, and ensure tools and workspaces are secured for the next day. Work Sunday through Friday from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. in an on-site role supporting the Peachtree Dunwoody House when needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of facilities, general maintenance, or building operations experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours and respond calmly in emergencies
- Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance tools
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to use technology for documentation and assignment process
- Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds
- Frequent walking, stair climbing, bending, and mechanical inspections
- Work is performed indoors with occasional outdoor tasks in all weather conditions
- Must remain alert and responsive throughout overnight hours to ensure a safe environment for families and staff
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working overnight in a residential or healthcare-related setting
- Familiarity with fire alarm and security system protocols
