Job Summary
As Facilities Coordinator at JLL in Austin, you’ll serve as the operational backbone of the Austin workplace, administering the CMMS platform, tracking and closing work orders within SLAs, coordinating full lifecycle workplace events from concept to execution, and managing vendor relationships. You’ll inspect facilities, resolve maintenance needs, support budget analysis and forecasting, ensure compliance with health and safety and fire-code requirements, and provide reception and guest services, mail coordination, and office-support duties as needed. The role requires proactive organization, strong customer-focused communication with clients and internal teams, and the ability to work across IT, Security, Kitchen, and other departments to deliver safe, functional, and welcoming environments.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management, property management, corporate services, or related field
- Working knowledge of facilities maintenance operations
- Proficiency with CMMS platforms (e.g., Corrigo, Maximo, ServiceNow)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proven event coordination or logistics experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and coordinate service delivery
- Knowledge of building systems, health and safety regulations, and fire codes
