Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of control systems for GDSCC power generation, fire detection, UPS, monitoring computers, and HVAC. Conduct monthly safety inspections of assigned buildings and analyze technical data using mechanical drawings and electronic schematics. Read PLC ladder logic and interface with internal and external customers. Work extended shifts in air-conditioned computer rooms with occasional rotation. Obtain a trusted background check, pass a National Criminal Information Check, and maintain a valid Real ID driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- BS 0-2 Years or HS 6-8
- Experience with electronic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance
- Must be able to obtain a trusted background check and pass a National Criminal Information Check (NCIC)
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must show proof of citizenship
- Must possess and retain a valid Driver's License (Real ID)
- Must be able to work in Air-Conditioned Computer room for extended shifts
- Must be available for Extended workday
- Must be available for Occasional shift work
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of PLCs
- Working knowledge of electronic relays
- Working knowledge of UPS systems
- Working knowledge of Fire detection systems
- Working knowledge in MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows and MAXIMO
- Completion of an electrical safety program in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70E
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Information Check (NCIC)
- Must be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship
