Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning duties for guest and team member areas, including staff accommodation, common spaces, and emergency exits. Maintain garbage collection zones, recycling programs, and supply stock while performing minor painting and plumbing tasks. Follow preventative maintenance procedures, assist with evacuation protocols, and report safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor. Retrieve supplies, manage daily setups, and answer guest inquiries about the Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. This full-time seasonal role begins June 2026 at the remote Columbia Icefield lodge in Jasper National Park, offering on-site living with three hot meals daily.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Enthusiasm for living and working in a remote, yet social, environment
- Mature, energetic, dependable, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Takes initiative, follows through on tasks, and maintains a high level of energy
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility across tasks
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Standing for extended periods indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Comfortable using common hand tools (e.g., hammers, drills, wrenches, screwdrivers)
- Standard First Aid (or higher)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in custodial/light maintenance and/or tourism or hospitality is an asset
- Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
