Job Summary
Facilities Civil-Structural Engineer (Experienced or Senior) at Boeing in North Charleston, SC. Lead project teams to develop conceptual and final structural designs, including seismic analyses, foundation design, and equipment supports for building systems and large installations. Oversee design reviews, prepare drawings, specifications, and permit packages, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and provide maintenance support for structural phases of buildings and infrastructure. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 3+ years of Civil/Structural Engineering experience; AutoCAD proficiency; ability to interpret engineering drawings; familiarity with codes and standards; and cross-functional project leadership. Senior/Experienced level pay ranges from $103,700 to $171,350+, with relocation not offered as a negotiable benefit. PE license is preferred. Safety, export controls, and EO policies apply, with US export control compliance required. Not a safety-sensitive position; visa sponsorship not offered. Location-based on-site role in North Charleston, SC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited program
- 3+ years of Civil and/or Structural Engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience using AutoCAD or similar software
- 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Experience with building structures, foundations, seismic bracing, and related codes is desirable
