Facilities Chemical Manger

Job Summary
Lead the operation, maintenance, and engineering support of chemical systems in semiconductor manufacturing; manage and develop the chemical operations and engineering team through clear role definition, performance expectations, coaching, and succession planning; drive system reliability through predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, redundancy reviews, spare part planning, and performance monitoring; provide leadership for abnormal event response, root cause analysis, and implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions; partner with cross-functional teams to support fab expansion, system startup, tool hook-up, and construction handover activities; own area procedures, operation standards, OCAP, training packages, and documentation to ensure consistency and operational excellence; manage contractors and supplier relationships to support maintenance, project execution, and continuous improvement objectives; use operational metrics and routine field engagement to identify opportunities to improve safety, housekeeping, cost, and efficiency; manage budgets, resources, and priorities to align with business needs and site objectives; ensure compliance with EHS policies, local regulations, and audit requirements, and promote a strong safety culture across the team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in chemical system operations, maintenance, or engineering within semiconductor manufacturing or a related industry
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams, contractors, or shift operations in a high-demand manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of chemical distribution systems, safety interlocks, equipment reliability, and operational risk management
- Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Familiarity with SEMI S2/S8, ISO standards, and local regulatory requirements
- Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead under pressure and respond effectively to system abnormalities and emergency situations
