Job Summary
Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards, design, and space criteria through utilization studies and forecasts for USAF civil engineering clients. Implement analyses for facility planning and management solutions while performing complex activities for cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization. Prepare or review facility estimates and site proposals for client review regarding cost and feasibility. Collaborate with clients to develop plans responsive to portfolio and space requirements, and recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for building drawings and facility surveys, applying Microsoft Office applications to support these tasks. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of facilities CAD experience, with a Secret clearance and up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for building drawings and facilities
- Ability to learn new processes or procedures and apply them to existing CAD contract requirements
- Ability to conduct facility surveys
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Access
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with facilities CAD, or 6+ years of experience with facilities CAD in lieu of a degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DoD clients, including Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 32-1084, Facility Requirements, Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-7062, and Comprehensive Planning
- Knowledge of DoD installations, missions, organizations, and facility types, including Category Codes
- Knowledge of AFI 32-1015, Integrated Installation Planning, DAFI 32-9005, and Real Property Accountability and Reporting
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Engineering, or Geography
- Autodesk Certification
