Job Summary
The Facilities Associate role involves supporting daily facility operations, conducting routine maintenance, monitoring building conditions, and ensuring safety compliance in a biotech environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with work orders, performing inspections, helping maintain cleanliness, responding to facility requests, and providing support during contractor visits. Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, warehouse, or manufacturing support role (biotech or GMP environment preferred).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform hands-on tasks such as light repairs, equipment checks, and facility upkeep.
- Understanding of safety practices, facility operations, and the importance of compliance in a regulated environment.
- Ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and documentation procedures accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn new technical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks, including standing, reaching, bending, or climbing ladders.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with GMP, cleanroom environments, or regulated manufacturing operations.
- Experience using CMMS systems, maintenance logs, or inventory tools.
