Job Summary
Facilities Associate at Families in Transition performing custodial duties (vacuuming, floor washing, sweeping, dusting, cleaning walls/windows in common areas), apartment turnover cleaning to ensure move-in readiness, exterior maintenance (litter pickup, sweeping walkways/parking areas), operation/maintenance of cleaning equipment (vacuums, carpet extractors, burnishers, buffers), identifying/reporting equipment needs, monitoring safety (failed bulbs, smoke detectors, water damage) and escalating, managing cleaning-supplies inventory, opening/closing facilities including security alarms, assisting with landscaping (snow removal, mowing, trimmers), supporting Facilities Technicians with painting, sheetrock repair, bulk trash removal, and moving appliances/furniture; requires self-starter, detail-oriented, reliable attitude and alignment with mission; location requires travel to Manchester and Concord, NH; HS diploma/GED required, valid driver's license and clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Ability to travel to various Families in Transition locations in Manchester and Concord, as needed
- The physical capability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working in both extremely cold and hot environments
