Job Summary
Perform touch-ups and minor painting tasks, regularly collect and dispose of garbage, and ensure soap dispensers and paper towel holders are consistently stocked. Assist with basic maintenance, maintain the cleanliness of the sauna and private changing room drains, pressure wash indoor and outdoor areas, and address corrosion on the pool deck. Clean drinking fountain trays weekly and change shower curtains as needed while following all safety protocols. This part-time role supports the Eugene Family YMCA's mission to strengthen communities through youth development and healthy living.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying
- Basic knowledge of painting and maintenance techniques
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- The employee must intermittently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust
