Job Summary
Senior leadership role overseeing workshop operations, maintenance performance, asset management, and capital project delivery at the West Swanson Terminal. Leads a team of Maintenance Supervisors and a large trade workforce, driving safety, performance and continuous improvement across the Engineering function. Responsibilities include leading workshop operations, driving equipment reliability, managing terminal facilities and infrastructure assets, delivering engineering and capital projects from concept to completion, managing contractor performance and service delivery, and developing workforce capability while collaborating with the Engineering leadership team.
Required Qualifications
- A tertiary engineering qualification or advanced trade qualification
- Significant experience leading maintenance operations in heavy industry, ports, logistics, manufacturing, mining or similar environments
- Proven leadership experience managing supervisors and trade-based workforces
- Strong knowledge of asset management, maintenance systems and reliability improvement
- Experience managing contractors, facilities and capital projects
- Well-developed commercial, financial and stakeholder management skills
- Experience operating within a unionised workforce environment
