Job Summary
Facilities and Maintenance Assistant (Part-time) at Morling College, Sydney campus. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of grounds and external areas; performing cleaning tasks such as aircon filter and gutter cleaning; carrying out building and equipment maintenance and repairs; preparing and resetting rooms for functions and events; and collaborating with the Property and Maintenance Manager to plan projects and organise resources. Requires current driver licence, IT literacy, service-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks; embodies a courteous, proactive team-player attitude and Christian ethos as part of Morling College.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver licence
- Experience in building, maintenance or a similar field
- Polite and courteous approach to all people
- Completes work to a high standard while meeting agreed outcomes
- Proactive team player with initiative and a collaborative approach
- Ability to handle a wide variety of tasks at any point in time
- IT literacy
- Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church
- Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code and Christian ethos of Morling College
