Job Summary
Facilitate group activities and lead workshops on active listening, conflict resolution, and civil discourse for 15-week Fall and Spring sessions. Assist a Life Skills Instructor in planning, organizing, and developing curriculum while building community among program youth. Arrive at school locations before class start to prepare materials and develop positive relationships with students while maintaining clear boundaries. Requires a valid driver's license, reliable transportation for client transport, and ability to work a hybrid schedule including evenings. Minimum qualification is a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus successful completion of the SBLS program or other Valley Youth House programming.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Shall be a mature individual who has successfully graduated from the SBLS program or has successfully participated in other Valley Youth House programing in York County
- A valid driver's license
- a motor vehicle report that meets agency requirements
- reliable transportation that can safely transport clients if needed
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule that includes evenings
- Ability to complete the pre-employment physical and drug test requirements
