Job Summary
Deliver inquiry-based experiences to guests and engage them in interactive gallery activities at the Saint Louis Science Center. Assist with daily gallery operations, including opening and closing procedures, while cross-training in other galleries and learning to reset and clean spaces. Facilitate educational content at off-site events such as festivals, challenging guests on interactive exhibits to make science accessible. Work flexible schedules that include weekends and holidays, actively engaging diverse audiences in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of working experience
- Must be able to actively engage guests during your shift
- Be able to withstand large crowds and loud noises
- Flexible Schedule and the ability to work weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- College course work in relevant Science, Informal Education, Museum Studies
- science education or cultural institution experience
- National Association for Interpretation Training
