Job Summary
Facilitate ESOL communication classes in K'anjabal for students requiring language support. Provide daily instruction and classroom management within the School District of Palm Beach County. Adhere to School Board Policy 3.10 and federal/state compliance procedures. Complete required forms, benefits enrollment, and drug testing as designated by the Superintendent. Perform other duties as assigned while conducting oneself in the best interest of students.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of forms required by federal and state agencies and the School Board
- Completion of forms related to the employee benefits package
- Compliance with School Board Policy 3.10
- Drug and alcohol-free workplace compliance
- Completion of drug testing pursuant to School Board Policy 3.96 or 3.961
- Medical clearance from professionals selected by the School Board (if applicable)
- Physical examination and/or testing for potentially impairing, disabling, communicable and terminal diseases or conditions (if applicable)
- Background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
