Job Summary
Part-time Facilitator role for Brooklyn APIP (Abusive Partner Intervention Program) with EAC Network. Remote position open to NY/NJ residents, offering up to 19 hours per week with evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and orientation sessions, scheduling participants, co-facilitating batterer intervention sessions, maintaining attendance, conducting breathalyzer/toxicology tests as required, distributing attendance letters, and attending trainings. Requires HS diploma or equivalent (or BA in social services preferred), training in domestic violence/criminal justice or 100 hours of internship, proficiency in computer applications, knowledge of local criminal justice and treatment systems, and strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or educational equivalent required or Bachelors Degree in social services area preferred
- Participation in qualified training in domestic violence and/or criminal justice or 100 hours of qualified internship training at an EAC site
- Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, Microsoft Office applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to perform work assignments
- Must have knowledge of local criminal justice and treatment systems
- Must have good communication skills, both oral and written
- Bilingual Speaking (English/Spanish) Preferred
