Job Summary

Open shop orders, issue repair routers, and maintain primary responsibility for dispatching, tracking, and production control activities for engine components. Perform initial hardware evaluations, contact vendors and purchasing organizations to dispatch work, and ensure correct material paperwork is available. Attend line-of-balance meetings, translate inventories into priority lists and furnace schedules, and instruct others as necessary. Maintain production boards, shipping documents, and scrap logs while packing, shipping, and receiving hardware. Operate material handling devices and work in a noisy environment requiring appropriate safety gear.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 1+ year experience handling multiple tasks at once
  • 1+ year experience with basic use of computers, applications, and keyboarding (e.g., email, Microsoft Excel, etc.)
  • 1+ year experience self-directing daily work orders with minimum supervision
  • At least 18 years of age by the time of joining
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds on occasion
  • Ability to physically handle, pack and maneuver weight designated to OSHA standards on a sustained basis
  • Ability to obtain forklift license as required
  • Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Ability to work to verbal and written instructions
  • Valid Driver's License for Facilitator roles that require use of company vehicles
  • Ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status
  • Employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person
  • Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable)
  • Employees may also be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with export knowledge of commercial invoices
  • Possess knowledge of creating shop orders- OSB preferred
  • Willingness to work with chemical materials
  • Knowledge of OSB, MRO, SFC System, Router Gen System, Manifest System, and Maximo
  • Experience ordering and maintaining supplies of direct and/or indirect materials
  • Possess previous inventory, scheduling, or related experience
  • Proficient in the use of shop math as necessary, including fractions, and decimals
  • 1 year of experience packing and shipping hardware, including preparing items for shipment (labeling, documentation, and packaging) to support safe and on-time delivery
  • 1 year of experience in inventory control, material procurement, sourcing, materials forecasting, and cost analysis/costing support, partnering cross-functionally to ensure on-time material availability and cost-effective supply continuity
